New gutters today. I think it will be at least a year before I could contemplate enduring any more home improvements, although this lot is at least more careful of the vegetation than the roofers were. And doesn't anyone in the construction business speak English?

Got back from Known World Cooks and Bards and still recovering. Now it's suddenly summer here - forecast high today over 90, which should easily be a new record. Time to cut the dandelions again and start watering the grass!

After a run of summer-like weather, we're back to proper spring: 40's today, partly cloudy, with a strong north wind. Snow line was rather low on the foothills - close to 6000 ft, I think. A good day to stay inside and play with words. I designed a new promotional postcard for the local Druids, based on one of my Irish photos. I rather like it.

Still here... least I think so. The house was re-roofed yesterday, and it was not a stress-free experience. The oak tree lost a branch, and I still have to wait for the next set of people to come replace the (very rusted out) gutters. Old roof: april 001 New roof: april 020 Haven't even been trying to write lately (sigh). -GRG

Yep, still here. We had our first spring hailstorm this afternoon - half to three-quarter inch hail, but mercifully brief - and I took some photos of the apple blossoms afterwards.

Not much new otherwise... one more photo, of some early cherry blossoms, minus one petal:

Still here...

...80's over the weekend, and today it's snowing! Spring in Colorado...

Lately I've been writing essays for one of ADF's study programs, and have put two of them up on this site on this page. Enjoy!
