Housekeeping: dates on posts

I notice that the blog is showing the dates on which I started writing my posts, rather than the dates I published them. Hopefully I can work around that in the future, so not to confuse myself and others! [edit: thanks to a friendly comment, that problem is solved ... though why I should object to my posts traveling back in time, I'm not sure!]

Also, thanks to POD Critic for the Thinking Blogger Award for this site.

  1. I notice that the blog is showing the dates on which I started writing my posts, rather than the dates I published them. Hopefully I can work around that in the future . . .

That’s a simple fix. While you’re logged into your blog, click the little pencil icon that appears below the post you want to change the time or day on. Then go to the bottom of your main form (where the actually post is typed) and you’ll see Post Options. Then over to the right, you’ll see Post time and date; alter the time and date in the forms, and click Publish. Do that for each post. And in the future, when you write a post and save it as a draft, alter the date and time before you publish. I always do this myself.
